About Us
I am Kris Ruzecki, a jewellery designer of just 7 years. I live and work in Wales, UK. I am a member of the Carmarthenshire arts and crafts co-operative Origin, at 23 King Street in Carmarthen. I, also, exhibit and sell my jewellery and crafts at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel, also in Carmarthen .
I have created PARI Jewellery, using gems, sometimes very rare gems, freshwater pearls, superior quality glass beads, ceramic and stone beads, sterling silver and the highest quality of hypo-allergic metal findings and accents. All PARI Jewellery pieces are considered unique, in the sense that there are no two pieces alike, either as far as their design is concerned, or the nature of the gems used in the particular design.
PARI Jewellery is a combination of my own vision of what a good piece of jewellery should be and what would be a suitable solution for the fashion needs of the 21st century woman.
I love making the jewellery. The greatest thrill for me, however, is to feel that something I have made could give joy to another human being and perhaps some happiness, too.
My husband John is good with wood and makes beautiful shapes, which I then paint and fashionable pendants are created.
John, also, works with concrete. EVON is a fantastic series of small colourful objects, like door stops, paperweights, wall plaques and stepping stones, which can be personalized to make very special gifts.
Thinking of festive seasons and special occasions, I have created a line of candles, which are pleasant to the eye, good for the environment and safe to use.
The glycerin based soaps I am making are of the highest specification and assessed for safety and hygiene, according the the 2004 latest regulations for cosmetic and bath products. Glycerin based soaps are the best soaps for the skin, especially for the skin of children.
'Too good to be true' goes the saying allerting people about things to be avoided.
Here, all is good and all is true. I believe that what we offer is well made, with love, with natural materials and with amazingly low prices. The secret is this : there are no third parties involved. I design every single item. Then I go out there, as I said, in the Wide Wild World to buy the gems and other components for the jewellery. I, also, buy personally all other materials for the gifts, etc. I buy wholesale. So the prices are the lowest possible. Finally, it is me who looks after the website and decides what to go in and how everything is presented. I shoot the photos, I write the words, everything is done by me - I'm trying to improve both my skills in those two aspects. So, no overheads, no fees, no waste. Both John and I are good in recycling things and that helps with boxes, etc. Do we think that we are fantastic? No. Simply, we are trying to treat people as we would like people to treat us. That's all.
There is, of course, Rachel. Rachel is the fantastic person, who gives me advice about how to do things on the website. She corrects all my mistakes. She was the designer of the website in the first place. Without Rachel, krisruzecki.com couldn't have existed. Thank you Rachel so much. |
